As someone with a chronic health problem, pseudohypoparathyroidism Type 2, I know how it feels to manage many prescriptions at one time. It can get extremely confusing trying to refill the correct prescription at the proper time. The Walgreen's app is very easy to use and literally took me a few seconds to submit my prescription refill!
I chose to log into my account to refill my prescription (there is also an option to scan the medication bottle), I just tapped on the top tab, chose the medication I needed to refill and hit send. It sent my request to my chosen store and that is all I had to do besides pick it up!
Below is the screen to choose the prescription to refill:
Managing prescriptions has never been easier, I can manage my own, my husband's and my kid's all in one area. It is extremely convenient and organized so it is one less thing I have to worry about!
Another great feature of the app is that you can see the information about your prescriptions in case you lose the information sheet they give you when you pick up the medication! I thought that was great to refer too if I needed more information about my medicine.
If one of my kid's had a medication and I thought they may have an allergy, I just have to tap on the app and open the medication information to see what side effects are listed. It definitely gives peace of mind that this information is right there at my finger tips.
The shopping list was a life saver for me too, I keep forgetting things lately so I was excited to give this a try! I tapped the check mark when I added the items to my cart and that way I bought everything that I needed.
The pharmacy is conveniently located in the back of the store, which is the best place since they also offer drive up service. I always tend to fill my cart on my way back because I see items that I need or want!
Did you know that Walgreen's offers immunizations!? I knew they offered a flu shot but was unaware that they offered others, such as the Shingles immunization. I love how they have signs up letting everyone know as I heard a couple of people in line behind me talking about it as well. #HappyHealthy
If you are not a member of the Balance Rewards program yet, you should definitely sign-up to start earning your money back! You'll see the signs in the store that include points and if you collect 5,000 points you can redeem them at check-out for $5 off your purchase. They add up quick too and are definitely helpful for those that love to save money like myself!
Here is an example of what a sign looks like in the store, you can see that it say 2,000 Balance Reward Points:
I bought 2 Walgreen's Pain & Fever at $7.99 and B1G1 50% off. Plus I earned 2,000 Balance Rewards points which is equal to $2.00! So, you can see from this example that the points will definitely save you money in the end...and it is free to sign up so you can't go wrong!

The Walgreen's app made my life so much easier and I will definitely continue to use it to refill my family's prescriptions, retrieve coupons, make my shopping lists and so much more! I highly recommend the app as it provides an organized, easy way of managing prescriptions and offers peace of mind knowing that all of your information is safely stored and accessed at your fingertips!
